Landlords don't waste your time or money

As a landlord looking for a tenant I would not recommend this website.

Ad sat as pending for days: Took 2 days for the pending ad to be approved after paying $75 to be a featured ad. By the time I had the ad approved I had already had 20+ enquiries from people from other sites wanting to view the property and 6 - 8 people had already attended a viewing.

Poor customer service: I tried to contact the website through their "contact us" section and it did not work, so I tried to contact them through the chat button (in  business hours) which is meant to get you a response in minutes and I gave up waiting after 2 hours.

Poor viewing numbers compared to other sites: With only 32 views and no enquiries within the week that I posted the ad on rent.com.au I would highly recommend you to try Facebook Market Place instead. I had 1,893 views on my ad, was inundated with people wanting to view the property, had about 12 people view the property in 3 days and had a tenant sign the lease less than a week after I posted it up for rent and it was free. Even gumtree had 5 enquiries from the hundred or so views.

Pros & Cons

Pros
Handy tools and easy to use
Cons
Slow or no response from website, not many views, happy to take your money and not approve your ad for days
